This client wanted to diversify. The brief given to her chosen Architecture firms was to stable the horses along with; a tack room, hay store and feed room. The other 9 stables were used to create a modern single storey dwelling that fit in well within it's rural setting. It was to be aesthetically pleasing and contained within the existing footprint to gain planning approval. This project is in the greenbelt and was a difficult application but LK Architecture provided a detailed set of plans and a Design and Access statement to ensure the required information was provided to gain approval. Once we won the project we set to the task creating a beautiful contemporary bungalow.
